The Journey is staffed by women and men who love Jesus and you.
The Journey: A New Generation Church of Christ in Tulsa, OK is overseen by leaders called Shepherds and the daily operations are led by these staff members.
Greg Taylor, M.Div.
Greg is our preacher and has been with the church since 2005. He is married to Jill, and they have three adult children who have grown up in our church. Greg is author of Lay Down Your Guns and other books. He enjoys family and friend time, running, travel, fixing stuff at his workbench, writing, and acting silly.
Lisa is our chief financial officer. She has been on staff since 2007 and loves being a part of what God is doing at The Journey. She is married to David, with 3 grown daughters, 6 grandchildren and a dog named Maia. Her favorite things are spending time with her family, reading, and aqua aerobics.
Bartola, or "Barty," is our children's minister and loves to be involved in missions near and far. She is Honduran and is married to TJ. Children are her weakness; Barty loves teaching, entertaining, and loving on children!
Cory is our worship minister. He and his lovely wife Hannah have 3 beautiful kids, Margo, Solomon and Juniper. They have a heart for foster care and adoption. Cory has a passion for music and how it connects to God's heart. He enjoys running marathons and being out in nature.
Nyasha is our office manager. She has loved being a part of the mission at The Journey since 2014. She is married to Daniel, is mom to two adorable babies, and loves to travel (ask her about all the places she's been and still wants to go to!). All this makes for a life that is full and rich in love, adventure, and blessings from above!
Veronica is our guest relations director. Born and raised in New Mexico (so you know she loves green chile!). She enjoys cooking, laughing, and spending time with her husband, Gabriel, and four daughters (yes, four!), who all serve alongside her in the church.
Nate is our youth minister. He is from Florida, loves Florida State football and all sporting things, but he hates snow cones. He graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2014 with a Sports Management Degree.
