THE JYG IS UP: VIDEO GAMES BUILD RELATIONSHIPS
MARIO KART WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
Racing against each other in Mario Kart will really show you who someone is! How competitive they are, how they handle stress, are they cool, calm and collected enough to take on Rainbow Road, or are they a dormant RAGE MONSTER!!!!
Video games are a great way to spend some time with each other. Eating snacks, drinking soda or my personally favorite, sweet tea, and just being able to not be caught up in worldly drama. Not everyone thinks they can play video games but there are so many games out there now that if you tried out, you'd probably enjoy. Michael Patrick is one of our high school students and he loves the party games. These are games that multiple people can interact with each other in and the whole group is engaged and involved. We played a game called "1..2..Switch" for the Nintendo Switch and it's fantastic! It's all about facing your opponent or the group of people there that aren't currently playing and less focused on the TV. Lot's of laughs, memories, and relationships cultivating through video games.
Maybe we can turn video games into a positive and make them centered around the group and relationships that can be formed. Not just about who is the best at a certain game.
