WHAT TO EXPECT
At 10:45 am Sundays we gather for worship and welcome all ages, and we also have a nursery and children's worship available. You can expect a 90-minute worship with singing, prayers, Bible teaching, and ways to respond, including communion. If you'd like to venture out earlier at 9:30 am, we welcome you to join smaller Bible study groups for children, youth, and adults.
WHERE DO I PARK?
We've reserved guest spaces for you on the South side, in front of Wright Christian Academy. You can park there and the sidewalk leads you through a black iron gate. The Performing Arts Center, where we meet, is on your left from the sidewalk. You can also park in the main parking lot on the North side of the school. We enter the WCA Performing Arts Center (PAC) through one main door that faces to the East.
IS IT GOING TO BE WEIRD?
We know it's not easy to visit a new church, but joining us in worship is your first step into life at The Journey.
We'll try to make the experience great for you, and not weird. But no guarantees, because our goal is not to be cool but to invite all people into Christ centered life. Sometimes that comes off uncool or different from our cultural values. That's our excuse for not being cool anyway.
The Journey communion is open, which means we invite anyone who believes in Jesus to take and eat a piece of bread that represents the broken body of Jesus Christ who died for the sins of the world.
Likewise, when we pass a tray of grape juice, we invite you to take a cup and drink with us to the memory of our Lord and Savior, and proclaim the death and resurrection of Jesus until he returns.
