God is more amazing, smarter exponentially than humans.
One of the great sins of humanity is to forget God as source of wisdom and to imagine the world is ruled by and depends on us alone. The Bible narrates that God gave us dominion over the earth to care for it. Caretakers is a better word than rulers, but over and over humans want to rule it without God's involvement.

Yahweh, help us to remember your thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and your ways are not human ways. When we think we have you figured out, help us remember we have not, that you will not be figured out, nor is that the goal.
Fast from thoughts that exalt your own thinking and give your mind to God's influence. Say at night before going to bed, "I trust you with my thoughts, Lord. Take my thoughts captive, then make your thoughts my thoughts as far as I am able to fathom what you know."
