How can I go?
The Journey vision is to welcome all people and all people become missionaries. No sin, no past life can disqualify you from repenting, growing in Christ, and becoming a missionary. What we ask one another is, "Are you ready to do something bigger than yourself? Bigger than your own personal dreams? Are you ready to discover what God's dreams for the world are?"
Children, teens, young adults, middle age adults, and maturing seniors all want purpose. Our individual purposes, however, are not as important as God's purposes. The Journey seeks to help you find your place in God's purposes and mission.
Our vision is to welcome all people and all people become missionaries. We are not trying to re-define or water down the term "missionary," which means "one who is sent," but instead to intentionally equip all people step by step in what it takes to be a missionary at home or globally.
Are you ready to do something bigger than yourself?
Each year we support people from The Journey to attend an important training in expanding our view of the world and God's vision for the world instead of the cultural and historical American vision we learn growing up in the United States.
SHORT TERM MISSIONS
Each year members of the Journey go on short term trips to site in and outside the United States. The purpose is to expand our worldview by learning from Christians in other places, encourage other Christians, and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
LONG TERM MISSIONS
Churches have lost sight of God's vision for all nations drawing to Him in worship. The lack of worship in the world is the reason for missions. With the Apostle Paul, it has always been our church's ambition to preach the gospel where Christ has not been preached.
